We are delighted to announce the bringing together of Airedale Voluntary Drug and Alcohol Agency (Project 6) and Sheffield Alcohol Support Service (SASS), in a merger that will enhance service delivery in both Keighley and Sheffield, provide opportunities to develop new and innovative services for people in recovery, families in crisis and those with multiple, complex needs and increase the charities’ financial strength.
The two organisations have been working closely together in a number of areas over the past few years and we have recognised that our shared values, culture and approaches to delivering quality services truly meet the needs of our local communities
Both organisation want to develop a dynamic and sustainable organisation for service users, rooted in local communities; with the shared view of preserving values that maintain a local focus.
The merger is planned to take place in the Autumn, with business as usual for service users, partners and stakeholders during and following the transition.
